Common materials include PE, PEVA, EVA, PVC, polyester, nylon and pongee. Each material fits different price levels, wearing frequency, garment texture and sales channels. For fabric rainwear, waterproof performance also depends on coating, lamination, weave and seam treatment.

PE / PEVA
Lightweight, foldable and cost-friendly, suitable for disposable raincoats, emergency ponchos, promotions and travel packs. PEVA usually offers a softer feel than standard PE.
EVA
Soft, flexible and good for clear or frosted styles, suitable for reusable lightweight rainwear, family styles and transparent fashion raincoats.
PVC
Strong waterproof impression with clear or colored effects, suitable for economical raincoats and ponchos; PVC-coated fabric can improve durability.
Polyester
